How is Check My Tag different from other identification products?

What colors are available?
Boys Shirts are available in sand/navy, sand/chocolate, and sky/navy. Girls dresses are available in pink/salmon, sea foam/chocolate and pink and chocolate. New colors and styles will be introduced as we expand so join our email list to stay informed of new options.
How do I care for my child's Check My Tag clothes?
As you would any other dark cotton Tees - for best results, machine wash in cold water with like colors and tumble dry on low heat. Avoiding hot water will ensure that your written instructions stay clear, longer.
Will the clothes shrink?
The line is made with only 100% cotton, a natural and breathable fiber for toddlers with sensitive skin. So the garments can shrink 1/2-1" in length and width. Washing a garment in cold water and air-drying minimizes shrinkage. Washing a garment in hot water and drying it with hot air increases shrinkage.
What do I do if my child develops allergies to more substances?
That's the beauty of Check My Tag - no need to send away for a new engraved bracelet. You can add new information on the tag at any time. Blank Emergency Action Plans are also available to download, should you need to update the more detailed documentation you provide to your caregivers.
What should I use to write on the tag?
You can use any permanent fabric pen. We recommend the Sharpie Ultra Fine Black marker. It is carried by numerous retailers and for your convenience, we stock it as an ala carte accessory or as part of our Safewear Kits.
